Dermal Filler
Dermal fillers utilize a naturally-occurring substance in your body called hyaluronic acid. In effect, these injectables boost the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid, adding volume in shallow areas and softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Dermal fillers are used to:
-
Reduce signs of aging
-
Address fine lines and deep wrinkles
-
Smooth under-eye circles
-
Enhance cheekbones
-
Volumize lips
-
Rejuvenate hands
Dermal Filler
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers—injectables that closely resemble the natural hyaluronic acid found in your skin—lift, contour, and soften facial features. Most commonly, we use HA fillers to enhance the lips, lift the cheeks, improve the appearance of tear troughs or under eye hollowing, soften smile lines, and define the jawline/chin.
-
Restore Volume Loss: As we age, the skin loses collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which leads to volume loss in areas such as the cheeks, under the eyes, and around the mouth. Fillers are injected into these areas to replace lost volume, giving the face a fuller, more youthful appearance.
-
Smooth Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Fillers can smooth out wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to the mouth) or marionette lines (lines around the mouth). They fill in the skin’s surface, reducing the appearance of these lines and providing a smoother complexion.
-
Enhance Facial Features: Fillers are used for non-surgical enhancement of facial features, such as plumping the lips, lifting the eyebrows, or reshaping the chin and jawline. This helps create a more balanced and symmetrical facial profile.
-
Hydrate the Skin: Some fillers, especially those containing hyaluronic acid, help to hydrate the skin by attracting moisture to the treated area, giving the skin a plumper and more youthful glow.
